Excellent services by Stu. He spent time finding the cause of problems on my back and then a really good rehab programme to put things rightPosted on Google Sarah MattockTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Went to Stu at Cockermouth Rehab Studio feeling broken and old after 18 months of my back pain being dismissed by my Doctor’s physio. Stu listened to me, explained things clearly and gave me a programme of exercises to start my rehab. He also got my Doctor to refer me for a scan that I needed to confirm what Stu suspected was wrong with my back within the first 20 mins of talking to him. 3 sessions in all and I feel like I am making great progress and importantly understand how to keep my back healthy going forward. Thanks StuPosted on Google Andrea GrayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My story started in December 2024 when I visited Stu for treatment while I waited for surgery- partial knee replacement… we worked on building my strength and correct technique for a year… fast forward to now…. I had my surgery in December 2025 and my recovery has been fantastic! All the work we did before has paid off! 100% recommend Stu he’s got me well on truly on the road to recovery.Posted on Google Ben WalkerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For years, I struggled with calf issues and sought help from various physiotherapists, but none were able to provide a lasting solution. However, upon visiting Stu, he quickly identified the underlying problems and prescribed the appropriate exercises. Since implementing his recommendations, I have been able to run confidently, free from the fear of injuring my calf muscles.Posted on Google Rob WhiteTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stu is a fantastic physio, passionate, positive, pragmatic and supportive. While his clinical knowledge is excellent, what stood out most for me was his soft skills and communication. If you are looking for a physiotherapist I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stu.Posted on Google Kate AnettsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stu is brilliant, he was recommended to me and I would highly recommend him. I badly sprained my right ankle which resulted in pain but n my right knee. My left ankle is fused from an injury a number of years ago, so I need my right leg to weight bear. Stu was personable and easy to talk to. I'm not an athlete but he explained and demonstrated the exercises and I was able to message him to check that I was doing them correctly. After three sessions I'm fitter and stronger than I was before I sprained my ankle. My balance is better and I feel more confident. Thanks Stu! 😁Posted on Google Wendy FigesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stuart is absolutely lovely - exactly what you need when you are hurt and vulnerable and you need someone positive and knowledgable to guide you to get better. Stuart was able to adapt to my needs and quickly recognised what would work for my recovery. I always felt he listened to me and wanted to work with me to help me to get better. I would recommend Stuart to anyone and if I have a similar issue in the future, I wouldn't think twice about contacting him again.Posted on Google Kevin WallaceTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Booked in at Cockermouth Rehab Studio after being plagued with hamstring /glute issues for the best part of 12 months. 2 months later and I'm running a 10 mile pb! Stu diagnosed the problem and quickly produced a plan that had me back running in no time. Highly recommended.Posted on Google Kristina WhitworthTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would 100% recommend Stu at Cockermouth Rehab Studio if you’re in need of a Physio. Stu is friendly and immediately put me at ease. His in depth knowledge is evident throughout his assessment and the advice and plans given. Stu demonstrated the exercises and was patient whilst I learnt how to do them myself, with a bit of adjustment along the way. I followed the plans to the letter and now have the results I need. I couldn’t rate Stu highly enough.
